NCLT Ahmedabad – Jurisdiction
The 11 benches of National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) constituted so far,will have separate jurisdiction .
The jurisdiction has been specified for all such NCLT benches by a notification dated 01.06.2016.
Interestingly, the jurisdiction of NCLT, Ahmedabad will include the following states and union territories :
 (1) State of Gujarat.
 (2) State of Madhya Pradesh (M.P).
 (3) Union territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli.
(4) Union territory of Daman and Diu
Hence, the companies from Madhya Pradesh(M.P) and having paid up capital upto Rs 50 lakhs will fall under the jurisdiction of NCLT,Ahmedabad.
The first Honourable members of  NCLT, Ahmedabad bench, as specified by an order dated 4th July 2016, will be Shri Bikki Raveendra Babu(J) and Shri D.M.Gautam(T).
