Goods & Services Tax (GST) in IndiaKerala Government Is Gearing To Implement GST

In  a recent workshop in Kochi on ‘GST and its Implications’, organised by FICCI in association with the Finance Ministry, Shri  V.K. Baby, Special Secretary in-charge, Taxes said that “the State government is ready to implement Goods and Services Tax (GST)”

He further said that as a consumer State, Kerala can gain more from GST. Whereas,Ravneet Singh Khurana, Deputy Commissioner, Central Board of Excise and Customs shared that GST’s self policy mechanism and its implementation will benefit honest tax payers.
