Nagaland Assembly became 8th State to ratify GST Bill
Nagaland Assembly became 8th State to ratify GST Bill . State Assemblies which have already ratified are Assam, Bihar, Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand.
It is pertinent to note that Delhi which is not a state, has also ratified the GST Bill on 25th August 2016.
It is mandatory that 50% of State Asemblies ratify the GST Bill before, the CGST & IGST Bill can be passed in the Parliament of India.
