Self Reliant Package for India
Prime Minister Narendra Modiji today declared a roadmap for India with an economic package worth Rs 20 lakh crores.
This is equivalent to 10% of the country’s GDP and meant to propel growth of India after series of lockdown and while it is entering the pave of Lockdown 4.0.
It is being anticipated that the main thrust can be on the following:
a. Supply Chain Management(SCM) & Infrastructure
b. Exports based industries to be encouraged including pharma based industries.
c. Imports to be discouraged otherwise it will fail.
d. MSMEs, the Bedrock of the industries will be a pulling factor.
e. “Local-Vocal” brand to be emphasised and connected with mission “Make in India”.
f.Reforms in labour laws, regulatory, taxes, etc. and
h. Attract investments from various countries.
The package is to boost MSME and business in its entirety and to reduce imports as self reliancy is incomplete if our import export deficit widens on regular basis.
Let’s hope that reforms, the details of which shall be disclosed soon, will transform India altogether.The details shall be shared by Finance Minister by tomorrow onwards. The quantum of package as declared includes the earlierly declared packages as well.
