National Green Tribunal is not only very harsh in its verdict but also makes  India to stand  third country in the world, after New Zealand and Australia , to have exclusive court , i.e NGT, to deal with environment laws.

 

NGT Directs Centre not to Fumigate Plane with Passengers on Board

 National Green Tribunal has directed the Centre to ensure that no disinfectant fumigation is carried out in aircraft while passengers are on board. The order came on a plea filed by a US-based neurologist, who alleged that spraying such pesticides could have an adverse impact on health.

 NGT Bans Construction in Sundarbans
