Trademark Public Notice For Default in Filing Reply-July,2016
The Indian Trade Marks Registry (TMR) has issued a public notice no CG/Public Notice/TMR/ dated 11/07/2016 regarding default in filing of reply in respect of office objection raised in Examination report.
It has dispatched 13062 examination reports containing office objections under Sections 9, 11 and other relevant sections of the Trade Marks Act, 1999 to the concerned applicants or their authorised agents on record in the months of March and April 2016.
Out of the examination reports so dispatched, no reply or communication have been received in 9578 applications even after the expiry of more than 30 days from the date of dispatch.
Accordingly, as a last chance the date of response has been extended till July 31, 2016. If no reply is filed on or before July 31, 2016 to the examination report, the application would be deemed as abandoned.
